I’m not sure why but the door motif has been on my mind of late, and isn’t life just one continual row of doors opening and shutting simultaneously? Sometimes it makes sense and sometimes it doesn’t, but always, always we wonder if there’s a purpose to these outcomes whatever they may be.
Doors mean different things to different people but for me, the door is the transition from the known to unknown. It’s the what-if, the facing of fears, the revelation of what is to come. And the only way to open a door in style is to do it with eyes wide open.

When one door is closed, don’t you know, another is open. – Bob Marley
God enters by a private door into every individual. – Ralph Waldo Emerson
Not knowing when the dawn will come I open every door. – Emily Dickinson
See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. – Revelations 3:8
